411.ca

There are a fair amount of websites where you can read and write reviews for local businesses that are already full of users and information. In order to succeed in this market you need something that others don't have and in the world of websites that something always equals content.
411.ca lacks in this department. It could be because it's a newer website, it could be because it is trying to cater to a specific crowd, it could be because it is missing something.
Yes the website in question lets users review local businesses, both big names and mom and pop shops, and lets us read the reviews easily. The reviewer has the option to "recommend" the business or not, basically giving it a thumbs up or down depending on user opinion. This is all well and good but again I go back to content.
First thing I did when I logged in to the website was think of a business I would like to review; However, my favorite restaurant, Miso, was not found on their website. I tried to find a way to add it to no avail. Miso is a very popular Japanese restaurant in my city and to not be able to find it on this site was disheartening. I was able to review their less popular sister restaurant, Mooshiro, but why can't I review Miso?
I found the layout cumbersome and a little annoying, the search function is too broad and the look of the site is not pleasing to the eye.

While Google maps has reviews from businesses available in very few clicks and in a nice format, it includes more businesses and their reviews from a number of sites compiled in one place, I don't know why anyone would use 411.ca.  Stick with Google. It has everything, including content.

This review was for Bzzagent.com.

Green works by clorox

The claim:
Made with at least 95% natural ingredients
Clean with the power you expect from Clorox
Clean without harsh chemical residue (When used as directed)
For all washing machines including HE

I have a problem with these claims already, mostly the second, third and fourth points. The fact that it "clean with the power you expect form Clorox" basically means it works which I would hope it does since they are selling this stuff. "Clean without harsh chemical residue" *Use as directed* This means if you are not a goober and use too much at a time it should rinse off clean. Again I would hope so, it's laundry detergent! In regards to the last point, all laundry detergent works in all machines. HE detergent is just mega concentrated since the machine holds less soap in the dispenser. Really this is true.
I am going to be really tough on this product since I make my own laundry detergent and with a price tag of 11.99 (at Shoppers drug mart) for 30 loads compared to about $2 for 30 loads of home made stuff (That works fantastic IMO) this product going to be a hard sell to me. I guess if you are concerned about the environment or using natural products this may be more up your alley.

To put it bluntly, It works.
I like the smell of the stuff and it gets my clothes clean even when always using half a cap of detergent. Does it work well enough to be worth the extra cost? No, I don't think so.
Does it help the environment enough to be worth the extra cost. In my opinion, no, but if you are that concerned with the amount of soap in the water go for it. Peace of mind is expensive.

A little introduction

Hello (Aren't introductions supposed to start with Hello?)
Welcome to Angelle's (That's me) new blog where I will review any product a company is willing to send me.
Posting here will be sporadic because it is based on what products I am asked to review. I hope for there to be give aways in the future as well.

Thanks and stay posted. I just got some new laundry detergent to review and will try it out and let Y'all know.
